The Three Kings – Three Magi – to put under your Christmas Tree

Hi everybody, I am hope that you all happy and preparing for Christmas celebrations !!

Today I have this simple and fun craft idea to make during the Christmas holidays with the kids.

Three Kings 1

You just need to recycle some cardboard tubes like paper towel tubes. Cut them in half so you can have two small tubes from each paper towel tube. You need some acrylic paint, old fabrics ( I used some felt fabric), safe scissors, glue, yarn, wiggly eyes, felt pens and some 50mm diameter polystyrene balls.

Three Kings 3

I used gold card paper to make the crown.

Three Kings 4

It is very simple to make. Have fun !!

Three Kings 2

When the Three Kings / Three Magi are finished you can put them under the Christmas Tree to guard the Christmas presents.

This is what you need: A good quality glue, a old plastic credit card, fabrics, scissors and a notebook to cover.

Apply the glue on the surface of the notebook, and using the plastic card spread the glue evenly.

Attach the fabric and make sure that the fabric is flat without any air bubbles, you can use a rolling pin for that.

Wooden Puppets

Hi everyone. I hope everybody is fine and having a good week !!

My daughter and I are thinking to start an adventure in working with fabrics. We just have a passion for crafts and a love for fabrics. I have a good amount of old clothes which we can recycle and some  fabrics scraps, and for sure we will not resist to buy a few new ones. We are planing to buy a sewing machine to start our adventure in the world of sewing !! It is a plan which I am anticipating for you. Lets see in a few months later for our first steps.

For today we have a project with biodegradable tableware (wooden forks), fabrics, yarn and ribbons. You just need to tie the colored yarn on the top of the wooden fork, making the hair of the puppet. Attach the wiggle eyes and make the mouth with red colored crayola pen. Then with the ribbon, tie the piece of clothes making the the dress of the puppet. And you have your wooden puppet.

Fabric Christmas Card

I found some lovely remainder fabrics with a Christmas motive and I decided to make some fabric crafts with them.

What you need:

Some Christmas motive fabrics, card paper, double sided paper, colored yarn, hole puncher.

How to do it:

Draw a shape of a heart on the paper and cut it out.

With your paper shape heart drawn, cut out from your fabric the shape of a heart.

Attach with double sided tape the fabric heart shape onto your paper heart shape, then attach on your card paper.

With your puncher make holes around the heart, and  then you can sew afterwards.

A Rabbit
