Hi everybody! How has your weekend been?
Mine has been good, enjoying the good weather and starting to prepare the children to go back to school. We had a very good weather here in South England. Most of August has been sunny and hot, very good for outside activities. But now is time to starting think about preparing uniforms, buying books and notebooks for the new school year. For that reason we have this very easy and useful craft to make. It is a simple bookmark project. Recycling your cereals boxes and making this fun activity.
To make these bookmarks, you need some cereal boxes, scissors, glue, hole puncher, acrylic paint, paint brushes, colored ribbon and some colored medium beads.
Start cutting the strips from your cereal box – 18cm long and 3.5cm width. We will need two strips for each book-marker, because we are going to glue them together so that the printed sides of the cereal box are attached to each other and cannot be seen anymore. So, put some glue to attach two sides together as seen in the picture.
Let the glue dry and then make a hole with your hole puncher so you can start to paint it.
Put the ribbon with the bead to make them prettier. And then you have your recycled cereal box bookmarks !!
