Paper Fan-Fold Heart Valentine Decoration

DSCN1280

This is very fun and easy paper project, you can use old newspaper, magazines, pink paper, note pad paper to make this little heart for your Valentine decorations.

What you need:   Old newspaper or magazines, scissors, double sided tape, pencil.

How to do it:

Put 8 sheets of paper together. Fold them (together) in half.  This will create 16 layers of sheet.

Using a pencil, draw a half heart shape, with a template or freehand, with axis of the heart on the edge of the folds of the folded paper. Now cut along the pencil mark, this will produce 8 small hearts with the left side symmetrical to the right side.

Using double sided tape:   – tape the back of the right side of “heart 1″ to the back of the left side of “heart 2″,   – tape the back of the right side of “heart 2″ to the back of the left side of “heart 3″,   and so on till you get to total number of hearts you want. This produces a fan-fold heart, as can be seen in the picture.

There  you are, you have your Paper Fan-Fold Heart Valentine decoration.
