It has been raining for a few days here in South England. I think it is a good idea to continue with my winter crafts which is Watercolor .As the children are preparing to go back to school, we still have a few days to enjoy the holidays.
what you need:
Black, white, red, blue watercolor, some different size paint brushes, watercolor paper, masking tape, scissors, pencil.
How to do it:
Draw the shape of an umbrella on your watercolor paper.
With your masking tape cover on the surface on the umbrella, as you can see in the picture .
Mix white and black watercolor paint with some water and paint all your watercolor paper.
With a piece of tissue paper press on the watercolor paper taking of the excess of paint and let dry. The tissue paper acquires this soft look as you can see in the picture above.
When it is dry you carefully take off the masking tape. You can now make some dots with the white paint.
Paint the umbrella with a mix of red and white watercolor, press with paper tissue as you did in the background, let dry and decorate with blue watercolor.
